Why did you choose Head to Curve for your boudoir experience?
I've seen your work on IG and was instantly blown away! I've also never met anyone from here who is a photographer that not only identifies as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, but is also a fellow woman of color. I truly felt drawn to you!
What were you the most nervous about coming into your session?
Honestly? If our personalities were going to mesh well together. I've been in situations where I ended up uncomfortable while modeling for a photographer and their team, so the last thing I would want is for either of us to feel like that, ya know?
What was your favorite part about your experience? Would you change anything about it?
My favorite part was how collaborative working with you felt. From planning outfits, accessories, and even posing on the day of my shoot, bouncing ideas off of each other made me really happy. I WOULD CHANGE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Working with Keara has helped me regain confidence that was lost due to trauma caused by an ex partner. She has shown me that's it's okay to be vulnerable. This session was extremely important to me and Keara went above and beyond to make me feel safe and supported. For that, I'll forever be grateful.
Do you have any advice for people looking to book their own session with Head to Curve?
Just go for it! Keara is so attentive, caring, and will literally photograph some of the best moments of you at your essence. Trust me, a boudoir experience with her is something you won't ever regret. Matter of fact, probably should just set up a few session with her 🥰
