Alright, y’all, so you’ve booked your boudoir session—yay! But now you’re probably wondering, “How do tf I prepare for this thing?!” Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered with some super easy steps to make sure you’re ready to rock your session, lookin’ fabulous and feelin’ confident.

1. Groom Yourself to Your Likings

Listen, body hair is personal, and there’s no right or wrong way to groom before your session. Whatever your preference, I want you to feel like the best version of yourself. So, you do you! If that means waxing, shaving, or just lettin' it grow—your choice, always.

2. Loose Fits for the Win

This tip is simple but SO effective: wear loose-fitting clothes on your way to the studio. I’m talkin’ sweatpants, oversized tees, or anything that doesn’t leave those pesky indentations on your skin. We want your skin to be smooth and line-free (because trust me, editing out deep marks isn’t as fun as it sounds 😂). Plus, who doesn’t love a comfy 'fit moment?

3. Stretch Dem Muscles

Boudoir involves a lot of posing that’ll have you arching, bending, and twisting in ways that might surprise you (all worth it for that 🔥 shot, pinky promise). Stretching your muscles beforehand can make a HUGE difference in how comfortable you feel during the session. Think of it as a mini yoga warm-up—you’ll thank me later!

4. Eat, Hydrate, Sleep (Seriously)

Now, let’s debunk a common myth: you do NOT need to “shred” or crash diet before your boudoir session. Your body is beautiful as it is, and trust me, we’re here to celebrate you, not some unrealistic version of yourself. Instead, focus on feeling your best by eating well, drinking plenty of water, and getting a good night’s sleep. You’ll have more energy, and no one wants to feel sluggish when we’re movin’ and groovin’ through the shoot.

5. Spoil Yourself!

You are the main character, so why not make it extra special? Consider getting your hair done, nails did, or even treating yourself to a little post-session lunch after all the confidence-boosting magic created. Boudoir at its core is all about self adoration, so embrace the chance to pamper yourself—you deserve it!

6. Review Any + All Resources

I know we’re all guilty of not reading instructions sometimes (no shame), but I typically ask anyone working with me to take a quick look at the welcome guide sent over at least once before your session. It’s basically like your boudoir blueprint, and is packed with allllll the deets about what to expect from your Head to Curve boudoir experience. Trust me, it’ll answer questions you might not even know you had.

If you keep these tips in mind, you'll show up on session day ready to mf slayyy! Now, let’s create some magic together ✨
