A non-refundable retainer of $200 is due at the time of booking to secure your session with me. This retainer is applied as a credit toward your overall balance.

HOW TO BOOK:
STEP 1: SAY HELLO
No pressure or anything, but you kinda have to make the first move by sending over an inquiry! We’ll exchange a few emails to discuss the vision you have for your boudoir session and ensure I'm the right photographer for you. If it feels like a massive FUCK YES, I'll have you pick a date and pay your retainer fee to lock everything in!
STEP 2: THE BIG DAY
IT’S TIME! You’ll meet me at the studio for a 45-90 minute boudoir photography experience. During this time we’ll chat and create some jaw-dropping, intimate imagery together. As a reminder of the magic from your session (and how stunning you are, duh), you’ll also leave with same-day Polaroids to cherish 😘
STEP 3: HAPPY MAIL
About two weeks after your session, I’ll send over a fully-edited gallery for your review. This is where you’ll make your final selections and we'll go over information for ordering products. Thinking about adding some extra goodies? We can chat about all the fun options available 😉
Where will my session be?
Unless an outdoor session has been confirmed, your experience will be held inside one of the beautifully furnished studios* I rent hourly. They're all located within the greater Grand Rapid area, and minutes away from downtown!
*The studio booked for your session is based on location availability, but all of the spaces are GORGEOUS 😘
Are you going to share my images?
Not unless you say it's okay! On your pre-session questionnaire, I ask what kind of image release you're comfy with: a full release, a selective release or to keep your images for your eyes only. Clients can also choose to change their release type at ANY time for ANY reason.
Is hair + makeup included?
Hair and makeup services are not included in my collection offerings, but that move was 100% intentional. Don't get me wrong, a full face of makeup is gorgeous. That isn't how most of my clients show up in their day-to-day lives though.
I want you to look back at your images and see you, not a done up version of you. That being said, please wear as much or as little makeup as YOU are comfortable with. Looking to hire a professional? I can recommend a few of my fave artists.
What is the Curve Closet?
The Curve Closet is the collection of accessories, size inclusive jewelry, and lingerie* in sizes 6X-XS I've managed to curate for my clients since starting. When you book a session with Head to Curve, you automatically gain access to the Curve Closet at no additional charge. Whether you use it or not is totally up to you, bestie!
*ALL pieces of lingerie from the Curve Closet are wash and sanitized after each use.
Do you help with posing?
Of course! I'll walk you all of the poses you'll be doing, guide you through a few prompts and create moments for candid movements + exploration during your entire experience. You don't need to be some kind of boudoir expert before your session. That's why you hired me ;)
Will you edit parts of my body I don't like?
No and no. I've built this experience to help folks recognize that it's okay to take up space exactly as they are. This is a judgement-free zone, and I'm going to celebrate ALL of you during your experience because that's what you deserve. Now the random zit that magically decided to appear overnight? GONE!
Can I bring a friend with me?
Boudoir is such a sensitive and personal thing for all of my clients. While it seems like a good idea to bring a friend with you, it often ends up being very distracting. Coming in solo gives you the space to feel what you need to without another’s influence or opinions. I promise I’ll be all the hype you need, but you are more than welcome to have someone walk you into the studio before we start.
Are men able to do boudoir?
If you've got a body, then boudoir is definitely for you at Head to Curve! I am one of the few photographers in Grand Rapids who enthusiastically hold spaces for all genders, identities, and expressions. You can see frames of the many wonderful humans I've had the honor of photographing throughout the website!
