Abigail was my first out of state client.
When she mentioned that she'd be coming in for the weekend from a neighboring state to work with lil 'ole me, I was shocked! This is such an honor for any artist, but I think that's when it dawned on me that Head to Curve is reaching humans beyond West Michigan. LIKE WHAT?! I'm so glad the two of us crossed paths and have managed to keep in touch well after her boudoir experience. I'm also going to try to remember to give y'all 'fit checks for each blog post, but I can't guarantee that I'll always remember to do so 😆

Why did you choose Head to Curve for your boudoir experience?
When I was searching for a boudoir photographer, I was draw to Head to Curve because the images weren’t only visually stunning, but also there seemed to be a deeper level of emotion and energy I didn’t see elsewhere. I wanted to celebrate my body and feel beautiful, confident, and joyful during the session. Those were elements I saw in all of Keara’s work. It gave me some peace of mind knowing that I was in good hands and could be myself.
02.
What were you the most nervous about coming into your session?
There were some nerves because a boudoir session was outside of my comfort zone, and I had never felt sexy in all my life. I thought I would look out of place or not feel comfortable in my skin, and that would be reflected in my photos. Thankfully, I was able to let those thoughts and fears go in my session because it was such a positive and supportive environment. Seeing some of the images on the camera during the session helped put my nerves at ease.
03.
What was your favorite part about your session? Would you change anything about it?
The best part of the session was feeling my confidence grow. I wouldn't change anything about the experience itself, but I would switch up my morning routine before the session to include yoga and meditation to be more physically and mentally prepared.
